World champion downhill ski racer, Justin O'Neil, has returned to his family’s ski resort to prepare for the Annual Winter Classic ski race that will mark his return to the circuit after a colossal fall in Austria. Being no spring chicken, Justin is without a coach, and enlists the help of his childhood friend and local ski instructor, Kayla Green. After time spent together, Kayla helps Justin regain his confidence, which also sees them grow closer…

But when another professional ski racer, Nancy Seiber, sees how successful Kayla’s training methods are, she offers her the full-time position of being her coach! The problem? This arrangement would see Kayla leave for Zurich a day before Justin’s big race. Not wanting her to miss out on the opportunity of a lifetime, Justin tells Kayla she has to do it. Now, on the day of the big race, Justin must put everything on the line while deciding if racing is still what he truly wants, or make the ultimate decision to walk away from the only existence he’s ever known, and start a new life at his family’s resort, with or without Kayla…
