An extreme weather event hits Katavi, sparking conflict and alliances among hippos, crocodiles, and lions as they struggle for survival.

We are about to enter an unknown realm. A hidden place, isolated from time. Katavi National Park in Southern Tanzania. A wild place at the end of the world. The sheer richness of life found here is staggering. Hidden amongst its deep cracks and fissures, diverse communities live jowl-to-jowl. Hippos, Crocodiles, and Lions may live together, but their viewpoints are contrary. They are warring neighbors, forced together through necessity.

Following the fates of three tribes, the three major species, the tri-part story will unfold. At its heart are the trials and tribulations of parenthood. We will witness hard times that not only rekindle ancient rivalries but also alliances that are necessary for the survival of entire ecosystems under duress from a rapidly changing planet.
