Bomanbridge Media Singapore, a boutique distribution company, announced that it has signed a deal with Intervisio, a leading Finnish production company, for Angel’s Gate, the world’s first transmedia business reality format.

Leveraging Intervisio’s speciality of combining cross-media platforms such as TV, online and mobile communities, Bomanbridge Media will introduce the successful Angel’s Gate format to Finland, with production expected to begin in early 2013.

Backed by Asia’s leading venture funds, Angel’s Gate is a unique 360-degree, multimedia programme which gives entrepreneurs the opportunity of a lifetime to pitch their dream business ideas to some of Asia’s most successful investors.

The original format, which was aired in Singapore on the regional broadcast network Channel News Asia and was viewed globally via YouTube, achieving over 2 million views as YouTube first local content partner and Asian first 360 Transmedia platform on entrepreneurship. Following this success, Angel’s Gate Advisory, the investment arm of Angel’s Gate, was appointed as an iJam Incubator from the Media Development Authority of Singapore to incubate and help start-ups. The advisory has since evaluated and offered funding opportunities to some of the 425 business projects that have been submitted so far. Further investment is raised through crowd funding on the online platform, allowing creative minds with great ideas to sidestep the typical investment process by raising funds from the public.

As the exclusive worldwide distributor of the Angel’s Gate format, Bomanbridge Media will be pitching the property to broadcasters and producers worldwide at MIPCOM 2012.
