The Aurora Teagarden Mysteries movies are based on eight novels by New York Times author Charlaine Harris. They follow librarian and crime buff Aurora Teagarden – unexpectedly solving real-life murders in her small town.

Librarian and real crime buff Aurora Teagarden never liked Detective Sergeant Jack Burns, but she also never wanted to see him dead. Complicating matters, his body is found outside her house casting suspicion on her. Determined to find the killer and clear her name, she can’t help but get involved. When other strange things happen around her, ranging from peculiar to violent to potentially deadly, she must decipher the personal message before it’s too late.
