Singapore June 8 2016: Leading Singapore-based production/distribution agency, Bomanbridge Media, announced the sale of the Emmy-winning children’s show Odd Squad to Taiwanese public broadcaster, Public Television Service Foundation (PTS); Thai Public Broadcasting; Television Broadcasting Limited (TVB) in Hong Kong and Mediacorp Pte Ltd in Singapore.
Produced by Sinking Ship Entertainment and The Fred Rogers Company for PBS (USA) and TVO and SRC (Canada) the series recently won 4 Daytime Emmy® Awards for Children’s or Pre-School Children’s Series in the categories of: Outstanding Writing; Outstanding Directing; Costume Design/Styling, and Hairstyling. Season 1 was the top rated kids show for PBS in the U.S. who just picked up Season 2, scheduled to premiere in June 2016. Odd Squad is a live-action comedy about two kids who work for a government agency and who are equipped with the world’s most advanced gadgetry.
