Bomanbridge Media Announces Deal with NBCU Asia for Diva channel

Singapore – February 2, 2016: Leading Singapore-based production/distribution agency, Bomanbridge Media, announced a deal with NBCU for Pan-Asian broadcast on its Diva channel of the hot Canadian cooking show, Chef In Your Ear (CIYE).

NBCU acquired the finished Canadian program which enjoyed the # 1 spot on The Food Network in Canada in Fall 2015. The show is also available as a format.  CJ E&M from South Korea recently renewed the Format for a second season, and is currently on air with Season 1 (locally known as Avatar Chef). Mongol TV Mongolia also licensed the format.

Chef in Your Ear is a brand-new, stand-alone format, all about hands-off cooking. Every week, two award-winning Chefs are challenged to deliver a dish (or dishes) as good and as tasty as the food they make themselves. But there’s a twist. Each dish must be prepared, cooked and plated by a complete kitchen novice, wearing an earpiece, and taking instructions – or not!  The Chefs can see, hear and talk to their rookies. But they can’t smell, taste or touch the food – let alone chop, slice, sizzle or drizzle! For the novices, it’s in at the deep end, as they get the cooking lesson of a lifetime – but down their ear, against the clock, and on TV!
